The FEM EMMAs are the premier awards for the global mobility and International HR industry and on Thursday night, following a very engaging two-day Summit, key figures, leaders and companies gathered together in the elegant Liberty Hall, at The JW Marriott by the Galleria in Houston TX to celebrate the brightest and best in the Americas region.
Claire Tennant-Scull, Global Director at FEM said:
“It’s so important to celebrate all the achievements and hard-work of the teams, individuals and suppliers in this amazing industry. The FEM EMMAs remain the gold standard awards for global mobility and international HR. They are the only truly global, yet region-specific awards with the greatest breadth of categories for both corporate professionals and service providers. This year, the judges and I were thrilled to see that the quality has taken another leap forward. Although I don’t take part in the judging of the entries, I do read all the entries several times over and after 10 years at FEM, having read 1,000s of EMMAs entries in that time, I still regard it as a great privilege and am consistently surprised and delighted to discover all the innovative, creative work that is being done in all areas of the industry.
So as we all know, Global Mobility is an extremely demanding discipline and to excel in such a demanding role and among fierce competition is not easy, and so any individual or organization who makes it onto the Shortlist is to be congratulated. EMMAs entries are always rigorously judged by a team of fiercely impartial, highly experienced, senior figures in the industry and academia, who are drawn from a range of disciplines across the Americas region and who give up their own free time to carry out a very thorough and demanding process. So these awards carry tremendous kudos.
It’s so important to receive recognition among your peers for innovation and hard work and so I think the winners and all those on the shortlist should feel extremely proud. This year, we were fortunate to have more than 40 judges to assess the entries and they were pleased to see that alongside the well-established EMMAs entrants, we also received submissions from individuals and companies who have never taken part in the EMMAs before. It’s invigorating to have so many new faces at the awards and to see how the industry is developing and bringing on new talent. I think the results were very interesting and we were so pleased to receive such good feedback on many of the entries from the judges.”
This year the FEM EMMAs saw entries across 24 categories, and the independent judging panel made up of 40+ industry experts and academics remarked on the very high standard of the entries. Judged against a strict set of criteria, the competition for this award was fierce.
The judges commented on Centuro Global’s entry:
“Centuro Global presents the strongest evidence of true innovation and structural transformation, not incremental improvement. Their platform directly addresses a major global risk area and delivers quantifiable results at scale. An exceptional model for travel management programs.”
Business travel compliance is one of the most overlooked risks in global mobility. Organisations send employees across borders every day without fully understanding the visa, tax, and work authorisation obligations that come with it – and Centuro Global was built to fix that.
This award belongs as much to our clients and partners as it does to us. Your trust, feedback, and ambition shape everything we build. If you’d like to see the platform that caught FEM’s attention, get in touch.
