Tech Funding News interviewed our co-founder, Asma Bashir, about her transition from private law practice to founding an innovative tech startup.
Asma spoke about her unique journey, the inspiration for Centuro Global’s boundary-pushing AI offering and how our service is moulded around the real needs of clients, observed over a long legal career.
She also shared her perspective on the threat posed by visa policy to the UK’s tech ecosystem, and how government can work more fruitfully with startups as a partner.
“Centuro Global really came about because the industry needed disruption….One of my clients had a need that they wanted me to support. This one piece of advice led to them inviting me to their office and trying to understand some of the issues and challenges they were facing. That’s really where the work started – I was responding to the demand rather than thinking, ‘I am the founder’”
